Stamp Sale No. 300 Live Internet Bidding
Live bidding over the Internet will be available during this sale on Wed 31 Mar. You can listen on your computer to the sale taking place, and take part in the bidding while it happens through a Web service.
You use this service by visiting the Website the-saleroom.com:
- Some time before the sale, register with the-saleroom.com as a user. (This is separate from registering with the Brian Reeve/Sajal Website to submit advance bids.)
- On the day of the sale, log in as your registered user on this Website.
- Then sign up for the Brian Reeve sale which starts at 2:30 pm. You will be asked to supply your debit or credit card details.
- Now you can start the auction viewer, which opens in a new browser window on your screen. Start the audio stream to listen to the sale taking place. You can also follow the progress of the bidding on each lot by status messages on the Web page. You can place bids as if you are present in the saleroom.
- When you are done bidding, log out of the auction viewer. Your successful bids will be charged to your debit or credit card.
